 WELCOME , LET ME FIRST INTRODUCE MYSELF.

My name is Lukas Göbel, and I am a visual artist and photographer with 20 years of experience. My creative sanctuary, Studio "In de Meer", is located exactly a 5-minute walk from Amsterdam Science Park.

DIGITAL DETOX

Every day during my walks in FlevoPark, I see thousands of bright minds passing by. I know how demanding university life, heavy data, and constant screens can be. That is why I want to open my studio doors to you: to offer a space where you can step away from the books, get your hands dirty, and clear your mind through real, analog creativity.

GUIDED LESSONS OR CREATIVE SPACE

Whether you want to master a new skill or just need a fully equipped, peaceful environment to work independently, the studio offers both. You can dive into:

• Photography: Personal guidance in both technical camera control and autonomous storytelling. Whether you shoot with a professional DSLR or your smartphone, I will help you develop your unique visual voice, master composition, and build your own conceptual photo series or documentary projects.

• Cyanotype: The magical, historical process of using sunlight and UV to create beautiful, deep-blue prints (no darkroom needed!).

• Painting & Drawing: From core fundamentals to raw, abstract expression and mixed-media.

• Screenprinting: Bringing your custom designs to life.

• Stencil Printing (Banksy Style): Learn the raw art of street-art stencils. Cut your own custom designs and bring them to life using spray paint or rollers on paper, cardboard, or canvas.
  

WHAT COULD A WORKSHOP LOOK LIKE, a few ideas!

To give you an idea of what we can co-create: I graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK) and spent years shooting commercially for major magazines, advertising campaigns, and national newspapers like De Volkskrant and Het Parool.

• For Photography: We can run a continuous workshop where we discuss visual storytelling and I guide you through a personal project. If you are a beginner, we can focus on camera control and technique. If you are more advanced, we will dive deep into the concept, content, and editing of your work.

• For Drawing & Painting: We can organize anything from a classic live-model drawing course to free, abstract painting and mixed-media sessions.

• For Screenprinting & Cyanotype & Stencil Printing: Bring your custom designs to life on fabric, or learn the magical, historical process of making sun-prints.
